Fine Linens are a Girl’s Best Friend

For lack of anything better to do on a Sunday morning, I took a trip to the eye, nose and throat doctor to have my sinuses checked. I’ve had this stubborn cold for three weeks now, and it’s driving me close to insanity. So, after Mr. Handsome Doctor examined me, he diagnosed me with allergic rhinitis and sinusitis.

Aside from stuffing myself with all the medication he prescribed, I thought that I should start paying more careful attention to my beddings. Common allergy triggers such as dust tend to enjoy making their homes in our bed sheets, pillowcases, carpets and other furniture. One way to kill these allergens is by washing linens at temperatures of 60 degrees and above. And you can’t safely do that with cheap linens.

Because of my frugal nature, I have always settled for less when it came to linens. When I used to stay in a dorm during my college years, I remember buying my bed sheets at a cheap thrift shop. Now, I realize I have to invest in high quality sheets if I want to keep the sniffles at bay. I’m especially liking the yves delorme line of fine linens .It’s a worthwhile investment, I must say.
